March 28 Aussie Beach BabesOn the easter weekend as there was no dogshows on, my sister and I took our Aussies to the beach. They all had a ball as you can see by the photos on the video. Nothing like getting all wet and dirty, much more fun than sprucing up for a dog show. We were lucky enough to have most of the beach to ourselves and needless to say, we left no trace of our dogs behind to upset anyone. Hope you enjoy the Aussie Beach Babes. December 30 Jenna on YoutubeHi, Jenna can now be viewed on Youtube under ozpawfx. Check out her tantrum video and tricks video. tricks include Yes/No, wipe your face, wrap yourself in the blanket and pack up the blanket. More will be added now that we've worked it out, so check Youtube regularly for new footage. September 07 New pictures of Bronte/CaseyCasey's (Bronte) owners have been kind enough to send me updated pictures of her and permit me to add them to the site. Check out how this beautiful girl is shaping up, she looks so happy and contented with her new family. I'm looking forward to catching up with Casey and her family soon. Thankyou, Helen and John.
If any of my other puppy owners would like their pups pictures posted here please feel free to send them to be added. Also reports on their progress that you would not mind me posting. Hope everyone is enjoying the furkids. August 30 What now? While all the babies have now found their new homes you can follow Jenna's progress through this site and hopefully if any of my puppy owners would like to send pictures of their puppies progress they will let me post their pictures as well.
There will be no more babies for a while so that Jenna and I can focus on Agility training and also hopefully look at some herding training in the near future.
Jenna also returns to the conformation ring this weekend for the first time since having the pups, while still not in 100% coat from having the pups, she is still looking quiet good. With the Perth Royal Show not far away she could do with some practice in the ring before the big event. With abit more free time I will also post details of some books that my puppy buyers or other dog owners might like to read. Brock updateBrock has now found his forever home and will be joining his new family this weekend. Having watched him tonight interacting with his new family and after talking with them I know he is going to be very happy in his new home. It will be hard to say goodbye to my sweet clever Brock but I always hoped the he would get a nice family with nice children to play with so I am very happy too. Jenna, while she may miss her babies will be happy that she doesn't have to share me with any of them now. August 07 Brocks doing well with training Brock is still awaiting his forever home, but in the mean time he has been doing a little more training. He now also shakes paw and rolls over. He is so funny to watch as he tries to anticipaite the commands and tries to do all of the things he has learnt at the same time. It's hard not to laugh and to tell him he won't get a reward for anticipaiting. He is still picking up everything in one short lesson, so I'm tempted to try something harder with him. Not sure that I'm doing the right thing by training him as it may spoil some of the fun for his new owner, but feel that as he is so smart it would be a shame not to exercise his brain. Hopefully his new owner will be looking for a dog to do obedience or agility with, and won't mind that I have already taught him some stuff.
Or if he goes to a family situation they won't mind that he already knows some of the basics and a few tricks.
Trying hard not to get too attatched to him as I can't keep him, but it is hard when he is so loveable and so keen to please. So far he knows sit, drop(lay down), shake paw, spin (in both directions) touch(with nose), rollover, a short wait, a casual come (on most occassions), bed and out. Not bad for a little fellow of four and a half months who only gets occasional training. July 15 BrockAs the last puppy Brock is now getting some individual training. He can sit, lay down, spin and touch on command, he learnt each of these commands after only one lesson of each. He has shown that he got more than just good looks from his parents, and shares their willingness to learn. The only thing that Brock lacks now is his own forever family. If you feel Brock is the dog for you feel free to contact me, and we can discuss it. HE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT. July 11 Brock the last pupLee found his forever home today and is very happy. Brock the lovely black tricolour boy is still looking for his forever home. Brock enjoyed a morning at the park with his mum today and proved to be very good at retrieving a ball. He is also great at sitting on comand and is learning to lay down on command, but would love to have his very own family. so that he does not have to share with mum. He is such a sweet boy and so keen to please. Do you have the right home for him? July 04 Boys onlyBronte has now found her forever home and will be picked up this weekend. Still available to loving homes are Brock, blacktricolour male pup born March and Lee, redtricolour male pup born January ,these boys both would be well suited to families as pets, or performance dogs. Brock is not a boistrous dog and is very keen to please, ideal for someone wanting to compete in obedience or agility. Lee is a smaller Aussie but he is big in heart and is a very loving fellow who is keen to please, he learns quickly and already knows several commands. These boys are both beautiful, check them out in the albums and if interested contact me at ozjeno4@yahoo.com.au June 26 Pups still AvailableBrock - Is a sweet boy who is very keen to please. His gentle laidback nature would make him idea for any family, with young kids or older. He is very receptive to training and would be an idea obedience dog. While I originally hoped for a show home for him I would love to see him with a family who believes in their dog being a big part of the family. He is very much a people dog and loves being close to his owner.
Bronte - This lovely girl I would have loved to keep for the showring, as she shows great promise. Entered in her first show today the judge thought she was lovely, placing her 2nd to an older more expereinced pup, who is doing extremly well. (Littermate to Lee) With abit more ring experience I could see this pup getting its Aust Ch title if in a show home. With a grandfather and great grandfather who are Grand champions, and also a couple of American Ch as well as a number of Aust, Ch she definaitly has the lines behind her. Unfortunatly council rules do not permit me to keep her as I already have my quota of dogs.
Lee -This boy is my sister's breeding under Yasdnil Australian Shepherds and is from eastern states lines. This smart little fellow was held on to as a prospective showdog but his sister proved to be a better show prospect so he is looking for his forever home. He would be an idea family, obedience or agility dog and alread knows some commands. He is sold on a spay/neuter agreement on limited register.
PUPS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT AND IF SOLD ON LIMITED REGISTER ARE REQUIRED TO BE SPAY/NEUTERED
June 20 Forever homes requiredBrock, Bella and Bronte have just turned 13 weeks and are awaiting their forever homes. These three were held back in the hope of finding show homes but are now also available to pet homes. They are full immunised, wormed, microchipped and CAWA registered. They are available on limited register to pet homes on a spay/neuter agreement or to show homes on main register.
Lee, the 5 month old red tri boy from Yasdnil Australian Shepherds is also looking for his forever home. Fully immunised, wormed, microchipped and CAWA registered on limited register he is sold on a spay/neuter agreement. June 11 Stop pressBrock and Bella are now available, while it is a hard decision to make it had to be made. While I would prefer these two pups to go to show homes I have also decided to make them available to pet homes. Pet homes would be on limited register on spay/neuter agreement.
All other pups that were available have now found their forever homes, I hope their new owners enjoy them as much as I have.
Brock - the deep thinker of the litter, he'll look you right in the eye and you'll feel he's trying to read your mind. He would suit just about any situation as he is quiet a laid back fellow. With a dog like Brooklyn as his dad he would be a great agility dog, he certainly takes after his dad in looks.
I think he could also do quite well in the conformation ring given the chance.
Bella - The boss of the litter, she likes to keep all the pups in their place and is sometimes called Queen Bella. You wouldn't imagine looking at her sweet face that she ruled the roost. She would suit most family situations, or performace but could also do well in the conformation ring.
Her bossiness may be a slight issue with other dogs unless the other dog is bossier than her.
June 03 Some pups still availableBrock may be available to a show home, conditions will apply. One of the girls may also be available in the near future to a show home. Register your interest now. Bobbie, is still looking for his forever home, he has a full tail and is very sweet natured and receptive to training. He would make a great family pet, herding or performance dog. Would suit an active owner looking for a jogging companion or a fellow adventurer. He is sold on a spay/neuter agreement. Lee, is still looking for his forever home, he has a long bobtail which never stops wagging and can already sit and lay down on command. This lovely little boy was retained for showing but as often happens didn't quite meet his breeders standards for show. While slightly older he would still fit easily into a new home, and knowing a few commands already is a bonus. Sold on Spay/neuter agreement. PUPS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT May 22 4 month old Red tri male availableLee- Yasdnil I Got Rythme
This cute, cheeky little red tri boy is still looking for his forever home. Quick to learn and always wagging his cute little tail, he would make an ideal companion or performance dog.
Sold on limited register, spay/neuter contract, wormed, fully vaccinated and microchipped. May 16 Pups dad still gaining more titlesAUST CH Tuscamada Designer Made UD ADX JDX ADO JDO SPD GD SD ADM (Brooklyn) the father of the "MAGIC" litter has gained yet another title in Agility to add to his already impressive record. This boy is wonderful to watch in action with his owner and it is hoped that some of his puppies might follow in his pawprints.
The pups are already showing they have the brains to do it, after training three of them for 5 minutes each they were sitting on command. The following day when the other three pups who had no training realised that the trained ones were getting rewarded for sitting they quickly started to followed the others example and sat. Must admit I was very suprised to see them work it out so quickly and am thinking of experimenting a bit more to see what else they can pick up by watching their littermates. Perhaps the sit was just a fluke, I'm looking forward to finding out.
Aust Ch Hotlee Rodeo Drive (Jenna) was pleased to finely get back to agility training last night and behaved better than I expected after her extended break for motherhood. Although she lost concentration a couple of times and went for a short run she did respond to my recall command. I guess after being confined at home for so long she could be excused for being excited about being out and about. She has a long way to go before she will be anywhere near Brooklyn's level, but it doesn't help that I'm having to learn as I go too, and I don't pick things up as fast as her. May 07 Puppies AvailableI currently have a litter of eight Australian Shepherd puppies from Aust Ch Hotlee Rodeo Drive & Aust Ch Tuscamada Designer Made UD ADX JDX ADO JDO SPD GD SD. Presently, five are available to pet homes on limited register. Three possiable show prospects are at this time staying. Of the five a couple are already on order, if you are interested in one of these lovely pups please place your order quickly to avoid being disappointed as I do not breed often. These pups are not for breeding to be (spayed/neutered) but would make excellent pets, herding or performance dogs. They are sold microchipped, eye tested, wormed and vaccinated.
